Jonathan Santarelli was raised on music. His parents enjoyed exposing him to a wide variety of classical, salsa, blues, Motown, rap, metal, classic rock, and more. He was introduced to Djing around 1998 and immediately bought turntables. In 2000 he was working at Boston Beat Records on Newbury St. and the owner, Felix Cutillio introduced him to the international crowd of Boston nightlife. Soon, he was working dance floors with Felix on his Wednesday nights at Pravada 116 and learning how to respond to a diverse culture of dancers needs.
Jonathan has moved on from these roots to become a well rounded artist. In addition to being an Audio Engineering graduate of the New England Institute for Art, working on movie sets and creating soundscapes and foley, he has opened for international DJs talents, such as DJ Ghost, Nicholas Matar and Antoine Clamarone. Drawing on his wide experience, he composes funky, soulful, compelling mixes including his original dance tracks and brings the dance floor together while moving through different genres of music and mood.
